We are looking for a master storyteller who understands that the first 5 seconds of a video can make or break a campaign. Our ads aren't just commercials; they are serialised micro-dramas. We need a Narrative Writer who can craft compelling backstories, high-stakes openings, and "hooks" that stop the scroll and keep the audience glued to the screen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write 10–30 second narrative "hooks" or backstories that lead seamlessly into our micro-drama episodes.
  • Quickly establish stakes, motivations, and conflicts that make the audience care about the characters instantly.
  • Analyze performance data to understand which narrative tropes are working and pivot your writing style accordingly.
  • Work closely with the performance marketing team to ensure the narrative aligns with visual pacing and conversion goals.
  • Stay ahead of digital storytelling trends to engage the audience with new creative ideas.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in scriptwriting for digital-first content, preferably within digital entertainment, OTT platforms, or high-growth D2C brands.
  • Proven ability to write short-form content that captures attention immediately (Short films, viral reels, or YouTube storytelling).
  • A deep understanding of "The Hero’s Journey," "Open Loops," and emotional triggers (betrayal, revenge, underdog stories, etc.).
  • Must be able to work from our Bangalore office to collaborate with the creative team in person.
  • Bonus Points if you have worked on “Micro-Drama” apps.
  • Fluent Hindi communication is mandatory (spoken).
